Tulsa Little League TBall is a blast.  Each Tball season we have a large number of teams and the leagues key is to have FUN!  Coaches, parents and players alike have a treamendous season.  The teams are parent coached and play under the rules and direction of Tulsa Little League Baseball and the TBALL Division Manager.  TBall play is open to 4 and 5 year old players as of 4/30/2012.   Pre-season plans are to play approximately 10 games and to schedule these games during the week (Monday thru Friday). All games are played at LaFortune Park baseball fields near the corner of 61st St and S Yale Avenue.  We offer a very affordable cost of $80 which covers the players baseball uniform, expense for the fields, baseballs, and the leagues cost to administer the TBall program.   All the players will receive a participation trophy at the end of the season. There are no league standings in the TBall division.

WHAT ELSE DOES MY TBALL PLAYER NEED?

After a player is registered, the most common question is:  What else does my player need?   Each player will receive a baseball uniform consisting of a Hat and Shirt.   Simply enough, players will need to furnish their own baseball glove.  Baseball shoes are a good idea but the younger ages 7 & under usually wear sneakers.  Baseball pants are not required at this age. For batting and base running, each player is recommended to provide their own properly fitted batting helmet.  The helmet must have a protective mask for Tball. Individual water containers are needed for each player, especially during the warmer months.  Finally, a baseball bat may be needed.  Many players on the same team share bats but it is a good idea to get a properly fitted bat.  It is also recommended to wait on purchasing a bat until your coach can recommend a bat or one is properly fitted for your player.  All baseball bats must be Little League approved.  Choose a baseball bat at your local store with the label TBALL and "Little League Approved".
